Vijeth.Sankethi on Wed, 17 Apr 2013 06:00:42Hi,I managed to write the DAX query for the above mentioned Sql query. I am posting it for the benefits of others.I created a calculated column with the formula which is given below and named it as ParentRegion.=SWITCH(LocationDimRegionName,'North','North', 'Unknown','Unknown','Scotland And Ireland','North', 'Central','North', 'South East','South', 'South West','South', 'London','South')Then the wrote the following DAX query which gave me the same result as the sql query. EVALUATEFILTER(SUMMARIZE('BudgetFact', DateDimdatetime, LocationDimParenRegion,'TotalBudget',SUM('BudgetFact'FXBudget)),DateDimdatetime = DATEVALUE('2004-10-01') && (LocationDimParenRegion = 'South' LocationDimParenRegion = 'North'))ORDER BY LocationDimParenRegionThis gave the desired result. Many Thanks to Darren for code snippet and the links!!!
